At just 17 years old, Brayden Jarrard, a senior at Okanagan Mission Secondary School in Kelowna, BC, Canada, embodies a rare blend of athletic prowess, academic diligence, and entrepreneurial spirit. Brayden's journey is not just one of personal achievement but also of inspiring others towards excellence.
Brayden's journey into the world of discipline and determination began at the age of six with TaeKwonDo. Achieving a Black Belt at the tender age of 10, one of the youngest in Kees Tae Kwon Do, he didn’t just stop there. He went on to earn his 1st Dan Black Belt and became a distinguished member of the TaeKwonDo World Federation. His leadership qualities shone through as he joined the Leadership Team, teaching classes and exemplifying the values of martial arts.
Parallel to his Tae Kwon Do journey, Brayden's passion for soccer flourished. Starting with the Central Okanagan Youth Soccer Association (COYSA) in Mini Soccer, he swiftly moved up the ranks to play for the elite Kelowna United Select Team and later, the Thompson Okanagan Football Club (TOFC). His dedication culminated in a breakout season, leading in goals and catching the eye of scouts.
As Brayden approached his senior years, his dreams evolved. While continuing to play for KU Soccer and mentoring young athletes, Brayden pivoted his focus towards academia, specifically business studies. Fascinated by the success stories of global business leaders, he embraced business-oriented classes, achieving an impressive A average in his junior year. His Tutor business idea has also earned him a spot in the Regional Entrepreneurial Contest, the iGen Challenge. He will be competing against 16 other students with the winners being chosen in June 2024.

Now, in Grade 12, Brayden is channeling his efforts into gaining admission to Canada's top-tier Sauder Business School at UBC Vancouver. Understanding the rigor and competitiveness of the program, he applies the same discipline and dedication that he learned on the field and in the dojang to his academic pursuits.
Beyond academics and sports, Brayden is committed to mentoring the next generation. As a paid mentor for COYSA, he imparts soccer skills to young enthusiasts, finding joy and relaxation in nurturing future talents and balancing the pressures of his rigorous academic schedule.
Brayden Jarrard is not just the face behind iTutorFriends; he is a living testament to the values it espouses - dedication, excellence, and the power of mentoring. His journey, marked by achievements across various fields, serves as an inspiration for every student who dreams big and works hard to turn those dreams into reality.
